Petra Accounting; Logo revamp

I was asked to revamp an old logo of a well-established accounting firm with a famous name to it; Petra.

The brief was to to provide two options, the 1st is a redrawing of the old logo in a modern way, and the 2nd is to create a new logo, while keeping all the elements of the old one: the books, the sun, and the word Petra (in Arabic).

 

Luckily, the client went with option 2, the. new logo, which while keeping all the elements of the old logo, actually spells out the word "Petra" in Arabic all the while recreating the famous shape of the Khazna, the most famous landmark in Petra, one of the new 7 world wonders.
